Key Properties & Corrosion Resistance
Incoloy 825 is designed to provide exceptional resistance to:
Reducing acids (Sulfuric and Phosphoric acid).
Oxidizing acids (Nitric acid, Chromic acid).
Chloride Stress Corrosion Cracking (SCC) – Superior to 300 series stainless steels.
Pitting and Crevice corrosion (due to Mo, Cu, and Ti content).
Sour gas environments (NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 compliant for H₂S).
Application
Because of its high strength and corrosion resistance, the seamless pipe is used in:
Oil & Gas: Downhole tubing, sour gas service, surface flow lines.
