This product is a high-performance, high-reliability composite finned tube engineered specifically for demanding offshore environments. It features a core structure of ASTM A106 GR.B high-strength seamless carbon steel as the base pipe, offering superior pressure-bearing capacity and ensuring structural integrity under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. The Cu-T2 copper fins are permanently bonded to the base pipe via an advanced embedded manufacturing process.

This unique "Steel-Copper Composite" design delivers exceptional synergistic benefits:

  • The Steel Base Pipe provides the mechanical strength and ruggedness required to withstand wave-induced stresses, system pressures, and high temperatures.

  • The Copper Fins leverage their top-tier thermal conductivity to maximize heat transfer efficiency. Furthermore, they utilize the inherent superior corrosion resistance of copper to effectively combat the high-salinity, high-humidity marine atmosphere.

Consequently, this product is the ideal choice for various heat exchangers (such as crude oil heaters, seawater coolers, inert gas system coolers, etc.) on offshore oil & gas platforms, FPSOs, and other marine facilities. It is designed for long-term safe operation, maximized energy efficiency, and minimized lifecycle maintenance costs.

Cu-T2 Fin T2 Copper is a grade of high-purity copper. Its key characteristic is that the combined content of Copper and Silver is not less than 99.90%, meaning the total of other impurity elements must be strictly controlled below 0.1%. It is renowned for its excellent electrical and thermal conductivity.
